Revelation

Revelation is an intriguing book in the New Testament that gives us so much valuable information. Revelation opens our eyes to see a glimpse of what will take place in the future. We get a peek at how true worship and praises go forth. We are given a glance of what the end times shall be and how God will judge this world. In this great book, John gives us snap shots of the wonderful things that await faithful Believers.

“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” (Revelation 7: 9-10 NASB)

We can get excited when we read verse 9 because John sees us, the Believers, standing before the throne of God and before our Savior, Jesus Christ! We are dressed in our white robes and crying out in praise.

“Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?” I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” (Revelation 7:13-14 NASB)

As we read verses 13-17 of chapter 7, we can be encouraged to just hold on a little while longer, and keep running this Christian race with endurance and patience (Hebrew 12). We can be encouraged to remain faithful unto God (Matthew 25).

The book of Revelation slightly pulls back the curtains, and unveils to us some of God’s great mysteries. As we read through this book and throughout scripture, we can have confidence in all of God’s promises.

While running this race, we will encounter tribulations, trials, and tests. But we can be encouraged to keep pressing our way. Remain faithful until the end. Sisters, great and unimaginable things are waiting for us once we cross over from death to life!

It’s Wednesday, Hump Day. Here’s our biblical principle to help us get over the hump.

“That’s why we have this Scripture text: No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it— What God has arranged for those who love him. But you’ve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you.” (1 Cor. 2:9 MSG)

During your Quiet Time read Revelation and allow God’s word to bless to you! Watch today’s video.
